5 GCSEs at grade C or above.

Course Details

This course will provide you with a realistic awareness of working in uniformed public services. You will develop your physical fitness, as many careers in this sector are physically demanding as well as mentally challenging. You will also take a qualification in Stewarding, which could lead to employment with local event management companies. There will be opportunities to attend a whole range of team building activities, and off-campus visits to related organisations such as the Police, Fire Service, Army, Royal Navy and the Royal Marines, as well as other uniformed services.

Next Steps

University to study a degree or HND in public services, public administration, outdoor activity leadership or criminology. You will be well prepared for entry into many areas of the public sector such as the Police, Fire Brigade, Armed Forces, Military Police, Prison Service, security services or Customs and Excise. This course could also support a career in sport, leisure or travel and tourism.
