Level 1 Motor Vehicle Maintenance

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you must demonstrate a keen interest in this subject and attend an interview with one of our Motor Vehicle staff.

Course Details

This course is ideal if you would like to work in the Motor Vehicle Industry and are keen to learn more. The course will cover all the practical and theoretical aspects of vehicle maintenance. You will carry out a wide range of practical activities in our fully equipped workshop at Unit 700 Fareham Reach. You will create a portfolio of evidence and knowledge to show what you have learnt as you develop your skills. This will be assessed throughout the year.

Next Steps

Progress to a Level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance or Level 2 Mechanical, Electrical and Trim course. Alternatively you could go into employment within the Motor Vehicle Industry.
